A report on the second round of the "A Companion for Life" book-reading examination
The Noorbig Charity Foundation is proud and glad to have held the second round of its book-reading examination, titled "A Companion for Life," on 17 Bahman 1404 (6 February 2026).
Surely, the growth and development of any country depend on the awareness, knowledge, and skill of its citizens — and the graph of awareness and knowledge rises on the foundation of research and reading. If others speak of prosperity, comfort, expertise, and progress, it is because they have read: they have solved problems and turned challenges into opportunities.
If we look at the reports on reading rates around the world, our own rate of reading is, sadly, very low. It is therefore the responsibility of educators and educational institutions to promote and root a culture of reading by creating the ground for healthy competition.
Through these competitions, the Noorbig Charity Foundation, too, strives to keep alive a spark of the love of reading in the hearts of the young — and to take one more step on the path toward building a knowing, thriving society.
